I went back to Warm Springs this week, but to the early service. The worship felt more upbeat and energetic, but I can't decide if it's because the tempo was actually faster (it felt faster) or if the worship leader just had a better charisma or if the congregation itself had more energy. The song selection felt the same (not that all the songs were identical to last week's, but the song styles were contemporary with a hymn mixed in).
The sermon this week was much much better. The pastor opened by explaining that he was going to make four points, and then made those four points. Maybe last week was just an off week. I left them a visitor card with my information, so that will start the process of starting to connect to the church and get to find out more about what's going on there.
